About
Teagan Littlechief is one of Saskatchewan’s best-known country artists, recognized for her bold, soulful voice and multi-octave range. A proud Cree and Saulteaux woman from White Bear First Nation, she has become a powerful musical force—respected for her authenticity, vocal talent, and cultural pride.
With over 20 years of performance experience, Teagan has steadily built momentum through her songwriting, stage presence, and cultural storytelling. She has released 13 singles to Canadian and international radio, with four reaching #1 on the Indigenous Music Countdown and receiving airplay on SiriusXM and other major platforms.
Teagan is a SaskMusic Award winner, a three-time SCMA Indigenous Artist of the Year (2022– 2024), and the first Indigenous woman to receive the SCMA Female Artist of the Year award (2024). She is also a recipient of the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee Medal, awarded for her outstanding contributions to Canadian music and Indigenous representation.
Her live shows blend high-energy country-rock with deep emotional storytelling. She has performed on the main stage at Dauphin’s Countryfest, at the All Folk’d Up Festival, in soft-seat venues like The Bassment, and at major community events and festivals including Festival of Trees. She has headlined the Yorkton Exhibition and has performed at countless fairs, rodeos, and cultural events across the Prairies. Her upcoming 10-day Spring 2026 tour will take her to a mix of theatres and community halls across Saskatchewan.

One of her latest singles, “Need You To Go,” reached #1 on the Indigenous Music Countdown and became her most-streamed track to date. The song has also been selected for inclusion in the Lunar Codex project and will be launched to the moon in 2025 as part of the Solar Codex capsule, preserving her voice for future generations.
