Sandy Geddes - Chase a Sunset Album Release Concert

Join me, Sandy Geddes, as I present an evening of love songs, poetry and art in celebration of the release of my eighth album Chase a Sunset.  I’ll be playing a grand tuned to 432 Hz to mirror the recording and singing a variety of songs from my previous releases, the full collection of Chase a Sunset, and a few new arrangements along with my poetry and art.

This album is special. Recorded at home on my beloved vintage grand tuned to 432 Hz and mixed minimally by my friend to preserve the intimacy of an actual living room experience, this collection is as real as it gets. Each song recorded in one take, including breaths, pedal noise, and variances. There was no metronome or click track, no pitch corrections, just space and time to capture my heartfelt interpretations of the collection. Love isn’t perfect and neither is this record. But it is honest, original, authentic, deeply personal, and expresses the vulnerability of sharing one’s heart. All artworks including the cover painting and graphic design elements were created by hand, by me. This collection is a love letter, released to share with those who believe in true love.
